Believe it or not, most stains can be removed.
People ruin clothing everyday (well, not ruin, just make unpresentable) by improperly treating stains. They fail to act and tossed a stain garment untreated into the wash or they attack the stain immediately with improper methods.
When it comes to removing stains, information is 90% of the battle. You have to know the properties of the substance and the tools you have at your disposal.
Here are two pieces of essential advice:
1. Act quickly – You probably know this. Time is of the essence. If you don’t know how to dissipate a particular stain, Google it quickly before you act or you could just make it worse. Here are two helpful stain removal guides that break down by substance: Try this one or this one.
2. Wait before you dry – It’s the heat of the dryer that sets stains in forever. If your stain hasn’t come out after a wash, you still have treatment options available. But once you pass it through the dryer, the garment will always look that way. Check carefully after washing
