How to Rock a Soak with Our Activewear Detergent

Those who don’t follow us may have still come across an ad or two displaying bath tubs of filthy water and drenched workout gear. So how exactly is a soak done and what actually happens?

Well, the plant-based enzymes in our Active Wear Detergent get deep into the technical fibers that make up high-performance activewear. They extract hard water and mineral buildup and at the same time, dredge up bacteria from sweat, dead skin and body oils that were left behind — you know, the things that cause that set-in odor. How to Soak Activewear and Other Smelly Laundry

Step 1

Gather your funky laundry. Obviously smelly laundry, or activewear previously washed in normal laundry detergent. (The results after soaking "clean" activewear are always fun to see.)  

Step 2

Put the clothing in a bathtub, a large bucket or the kitchen sink — any large container that they (and the water) can fit in.

Step 3

Fill the container, bathtub or sink with lukewarm water, just so the clothes are covered.

Step 4

Add two scoops of Rockin’ Green Platinum Series Active Wear Detergent.

Step 5 

Mix the water, laundry and detergent around, and let the clothes soak for about one hour.

Step 6

Return to retrieve your clothes from the dirty water. *Stand there, shocked for a minute.* It’s okay — we’ll wait.

Step 7

Transfer wet laundry to the washer, but add NO additional detergent.

Step 8 

Run through a rinse cycle with just water.

Step 9 

Dry as you normally would and enjoy clean, refreshed clothing!
